LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American professional basketball player that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James, he's widely thought of as the best athlete of all time and has often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He also has the second-most career points and ranks seventh among career assists. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. He was the 3rd player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between 2011 to 2018. James was selected to join the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player ever to score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. The national media praised him as a potential NBA star. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft. Being the NBA rookie player of 2004, he established himself quickly as one of the most elite athletes in the league, receiving the NBA MVP awards in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. James failed to win an award in Cleveland and then left Cleveland with the status of a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced during the television special The Decision.
